M25, the gift from the sales Gods

This morning found me chuffing my way along the M11 listening to Radio 2's finest belt out songs that I know, on my way to a client  to deliver one file. Excessive to go inside the 25 for one file but if that's what the client wants, that is what the client will get.

En route as I approached a lovely sparkle of brake lights dancing in the distance, the Radio 2 travel totty informed me, that I had just arrived into an accident tailback and that I sould instantly start checking the car for overnight provisions as there was no way out!

Humph!

Being the sort of chap to never miss an opportunity and the fact I hadn't moved an inch for 10 minutes, I delved into my paperwork and took the opportunity to call some clients to chase progress on a few quotes and proposals. My first two calls were happily received but advised me that it will be another week until all parties concerned could get round a table at the same time to discuss said quote / proposal.  I was I admit hoping for instant good news to lift my feeling of depression as the traffic was going nowhere.  This was compounded by the timley arrival of a tanker to the left, a goods lorry to my right and a coach in front with the obligatory youths making gestures from the rear window. What joy I thought and decided that speaking to clients at that moment would be ill advised.

Finally after about an hour, I was free of the chaos and back up to speed.

Now strangely, we are actually scheduled to return to that same office tomorrow but the requestor couldn't wait until then. The secratary on arrival said, "I don't know why they couldn't wait, all that way for one file, it's not even that urgent!"

With my sweetest smile firmly stapled to my face, I completed the plesentries with the very nice lady on reception and returned to the car hoping that the God's of tarmac were smiling for my return.

So no matter how urgent or not your information may be, Safebox will ensure it will be back with you when you need it, tarmac Gods permitting!
