Don't worry the Cern lab still hasn't managed to make photons or whatever they are, collide and create a black hole or a singularity. It's not that big bang.
The big bang does concern technology though and it's the technology in your PC, more specifically your server.
In your life, have you ever had a problem with a computer, or virus, or something which caused you at the very least to exhale deeply? I certainly have and more than once. It is always frustrating when technology lets us down but it will continue to do so and things become more complex. Let's face it, if in the year 2199, Jean Luc Picard and still has trouble with his warp drive to run smoothly, you can bet your bottom dollar that back here on earth computers are going to continue fall over.
So the Klingon's have invaded your server and it has gone pop in the night, it may not happen next week or indeed next year, but you are statically more likely to have a server issue than you are a car problem. So what is the solution?
Back up, back up, back up. This is the only way you will protect your critical data.
Providing that you don't keep your back up tapes on top of the server!!
