Checking up on you .....and I'm not even here!

Great thing this technology lark.

As you are reading this I am sat with a client, no doubt sipping a filter coffee from a machine that thinks extreme heat is a substitute for taste, having an annual review.

As part of our ongoing management with our clients we have reviews to ensure that a: they are happy and b: we are happy. Communication is the key to a successful working relationship and grudges can appear on both sides of the pitch. The Ostrich style of management is one we have never taken kindly to, which is why we have happy clients as we are in constant contact with them.

Why are we in constant contact with them, surely an archive just sits there, why do you need to speak to them? An archive very rarely stays completely static as boxes can get removed, added, shredding may be required on an account, changes in clients circumstances may require and update etc.

So in a short while I will be on my way to another client (this time a potential) to not only understand what their requirements are but also to explain that we don't shut the door once we have the boxes, the door is always open. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome!

Feedback from clients has been positive, that a provider is proactive and doesn't just cash the cheques!
